Maritime General understands that our homes are our place of comfort and therefore we strive at helping you restore your home back to its previous state as soon as possible.

In the event of a loss it is important that you:

• Familiarize yourself with your coverage, conditions, exclusions if you have not already done so
• Do not alter the condition of your house prior to the adjuster inspecting it. However, if you need to  protect your property from further damage please do so.
• Do not discard any damaged items until given the approval by the adjuster.
• Please keep any receipts for remedial works so that they can be processed accordingly.
• Complete the Homeowner’s Claim Form
