ABOUT US
In 1998 December, Food Giant supermarket opened its doors to the people of Trinidad and Tobago and introduced a new dimension in food retailing. With Food Giant came the concept “Here to serve the people” and this is what we are about. Our spacious isle affords customers the comfort of maneuverability. We also cater for the differently able as we are equipped with special trolleys to aid in their shopping experience.
A vast assortment of items on our well-stocked shelves allows for personal choice in every area of the store. Fresh meats, fish and produce are supplied daily. Over the years Food Giant has become synonymous and maintained high standards with quality products and excellent service in keeping with our motto “A Smile In Every Isle.”
We cater for the busy lifestyles of our Clients with extended opening hours, which include Sundays, and public holidays.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of The Maritime Financial Group, and in keeping with the Group’s focus on breaking new ground and building strong bonds with the community, Food Giant has succeeded in carving a niche in an extremely competitive sector. We maintain affordable prices and would match any of our competitor’s prices. With our well-trained and capable personnel team, the visitor to our store feels at home.
LOYALTY PROGRAM
Our Loyalty program began on 2005 August 01. Clients earn 1.5 points for every $10.00 spent (more than competitor supermarkets) when they shop at Food Giant and use their Maritime Client card

At the Food Giant Bakery/Deli, we offer:
